This thought entered me 3 days ago, I was casually walking along the street when I saw a man arguing with whom appeared to be his father. Words were exchanged but the message was clear. I had a life now I have a 45Standing outside on the night of the first snow was not my idea. Who could enjoy all this beauty when it’s so Damn cold!! The lights from the pub across the street shine brightly through the light snow and the reflections blind me. I’m not phased, within the next few minutes they’ll be out and I can get on with the damn night. The cars passing are just as any other, exactly the same, avoiding contact with me because they think I’m a beggar. The cars are old, rusty, probably hookers and pimps, guys looking to get off and drug runners. I don’t care for this side of town, but I goI had a life now I have a 45

of some downtown pub. The lights flicker, flies on the mirrors. He carefully steps over a puddle of vomit obviously more than a few hours old. The walls are an off yellowish orange and the lights flickering give glimpses of bugs scuttling along the wall. This man is not who you’d expect in this shitty dump in this forsaken town, so you think.
